Guarantee of authenticity

With over 15 years of experience handling and examining genuine and non genuine fossils you could not be in better hands than with us. We guarantee all our fossils for life and in the very unlikely event that a fossil you have purchased from us is found to be other than what has been described we will give a full refund and replace with a fossil of your choosing within the same price range. Here at Muddy Bone Fossils we know the importance of a good reputation and will not allow any fossils to be sold unless they have been examined with the upmost care and if needed we will have it sent away for a second opinion. You will receive a certificate to verity that the fossil/s that you have purchased are guaranteed by us. We use lots of techniques to verify the authenticity of a fossil for our peace of mind and yours. This also applies to identifying a species, we do our very best to identify the species that a fossil belongs to and in m most cases we are educated enough to be 100% confident, but in some we can only guesstimate and this is where we will label some as undetermined. If we do specify a fossil as being undetermined or even unidentified we can of course still give you accurate details of the type of species, age and location.

But please remember that if you are unsure in any way or feel that we have made a mistake, don't hesitate to contact us, we always enjoy chatting with other enthusiasts.
